This document specifies the general quality requirements for the category of accessories & components-Cable wire  Cord Reel  Ext Cord & Receptable. It is used as a general guideline for final product inspection before shipment if clients have not defined their requirement.

 Product:

1. Must be without any unsafe defect for using;

2.  Should be free of damaged, broken, scratch, crackle etc. Cosmetic / Aesthetics defect;

3.  Must be conform to the shipping market legal regulation / client’s requirement;

4.  The construction, appearance, cosmetics and material of all units should comply with client’s requirement / approved samples;

5.  All units should have full function complying with client’s requirement / approved samples;

6.The marking / label on unit should be legal and clear.

Package: 

1. All units will be adequately packaged, and constructed from Suitably robust materials, such that it arrives in store in a merchantable condition;

2. The packaging material can protect the goods from damage during transportation;

3. The shipping mark, bar code, label (such as price label), should conform to client’s spec. and/or approved samples;

4. The package should comply to client’s requirement / approved samples;

5. Text of illustration, instruction, label and warning statement etc. must be clearly printed in user’s language

6. The illustration and instruction on the packaging must conform to the product and its actual performance.

7. The method and material of pallet/crate etc. should be approved by client.

Working instruciton: 

1. Electrical safety issue: including Hi-pot test if applicable, earth continually test if applicable & insulation;

2. Function issue: power on if applicable; Full function check (including the function which only can be checked after fully assembling.); Assembly/ installation check;

3. Special test: Pull test for pin (for USA);Maximum and minimum withdraw force check (for Europe market); Cross section area of conductor check; Stability test  (for freely standing cord reel); Power cord strain relief test; Internal workmanship and critical component check;

4. Per ASTAM standard to do Transportation drop test (not applicable for fragile item) & vibration test;

5. Barcode scan check; Coating adhesive Tape Test; Rubbing test for rating label and adhesive Test for printing, marking and logo; 

6. Product Size / power supply cord length / Weight Measurement. outer packing/inner packing/ sales packaging  size and weight checking.
